The Proven Name in Automotive Service: Joseph's Garage is a multi-generation, family-owned auto repair shop in Norwell, MA with an on-site (and full-service) Gulf fuel station. We keep your vehicle rolling; from the brake system and suspension system to the engine and transmission, our team is committed to providing the best workmanship and customer service possible—just ask your friends and family! We've had the pleasure of serving grandparents, parents, and their children!

Our Story: Joseph's Garage opened as a Gulf service station in the fall of 1928, by Herbert Joseph. Over the years, his family took part in working or managing the station, including sons George and Leo, who both went on to work for General Motors, and Phil and Art, who became second generation owners in 1986. 

Art is the father of five sons who joined him at various times at the station. Art Jr. and John became third generation owners in 2015. From time to time, you can run into their bothers, Henry, Herb, and Ed, hanging around or helping out. The fourth generation has also been represented over the years through Amy, Ryan, Austin, Nina, Spencer and Gunner behind the counter or at the pumps.  You will find  Henry's son "TJ" in the shop now, too. 
In addition to being a Gulf station for more than 90 years, Joseph's Garage was  a Pontiac dealer for over 70 years, until GM discontinued the brand, and sold GMC Trucks until the 1980s. That is where John and Art Jr. gained their comfort and experience working on GM and other American built products. Still to this day, this is the largest percentage of their service work.
